Gohan saibaman encounter Empty
PostSubject: Gohan saibaman encounter   Gohan saibaman encounter EmptyTue Apr 01, 2008 7:59 pm

Gohan was outdoors at the moment. It was the middle of the night, the moon was moving slowly across the sky, eclipsed by clouds some faint slivers of it’s dull, ivory light managed to adventure their way through the many cracks and crevices. The dull silver minerals composed of the intelligent robot reflected the few pieces that oozed their way down to himself. His head was cocked downward, unaware of what was happening as well as either of his automated hands. His brilliant, master crafted katana was help limply in his left hand, his mind seemed not to be focused in this world, but another, dream, wispy, ethereal realm. The cylindrical pieces of steel that were the mans finger tightened, the man-made muscles and ligaments moved in conjunction and his head focused upwards, up to the sky, the cyborg realized he was actually in a gloomy, fog-filled, sparsely inhabited forest. His single cyborg-styled sphere eye focused, it was dead set upon the yellowish full moon. Little known to the cyborg around him, from almost every hidden and darkened night weary corner and every branch hidden by the natural aroma of pine needles were saibamen. It had been years since the little beasts had last feasted, or entered in a fight and apparently they were determined on a single clash. What the automated devices installed in the cyborg would offer them was unclear, but it was evident that they wanted the lone soldier for something. It had been long ago that he had actually confirmed the presence of the smaller beings and longer still that he had picked up the essence they caused the land around him to fill with. Occasionally a knowledgeable and frightened animal would scamper away, off into the darkness, the green dwarves would take a glance at it and then dismiss it as small fowl compared to the prize-winning game they were determined to win. Unfortunately one of the more eager of their small party made a small, yet fatal mistake. His muscles slowly moved from the position they had been held in, tightening and then releasing their hold, it’s leg moved forward slipping on the liquid dew on the solid, firm wooden branch of the pine tree it had been stalking it’s prey from. It nearly fell, it’s small body teetered on the edge of the outstretched branch, however, it managed to maintain it’s balance. The quaintly sized body of the strange creature stopped rocking and it’s muscles and mind-frame relaxed it hadn’t given their position away, it had managed to stay silent. However, the head of the cyborg moved, it was not in response to the saibaman almost falling, but of a nearby rabbit scampering through the underbrush looking for a meal.

The saibaman, however, assumed he had been found and made a harsh swallow taking in a large breath of air and gulping it down hard. The small noise was enough for the well-trained cyborg to determine his position, his eye moved slightly now focused on the area where the noise had come from. His movements were simple, fluid and chained together perfectly, as if on a pivot his body whirled around to accompany his head. His feet swerved into action and he took a silent step forward, he had calculated the position of most material around himself that would make a stealth killing noise if pressure was applied to it. He took a long, single leap from his position nearly flying through the air as he out-stretched his blade, cutting the saibamen head off in a single quick action. The battle had begun, around him dozens of the little creatures began making small noise and uttering complaints, they would attack, and they would die.

The noise generated by the large amount of the creatures confused the cyborg’s senses for a moment, his head cocked, swivelled and spun trying to find the best target. In the end he seemed to have forgotten about his resolve to find the most appropriate victim and he swung his blade around, the sharp edge and sanded point coming to a halt at a nearby cluster of saibamen. A flurry of screeches, screams and cowardly cries were heard as it was made apparent who his first target was. He took a running start, his iron feet sliding effortlessly across the rough terrain of the forest floor. His body dropped in a quick movement and he slid forward, landing in the middle of the party of cowardly fighters. His steel fore-arms moved in succession with each other, his left arm slashing and hacking with no regard to age, gender or predicament. In his original attack he killed five of the weak creatures alone, their bloodied, mangled corpses left on the ground to decay and as a feast for any wolves that would perhaps luckily come across them. His solo eye now focused, de-focused and re-focused, making sure that it was in the best position to find and destroy any enemies it would sense. His blade was now merely an extension of his persona, and as he searched for another scout or group of low level fighters that quality was reflected. It never left his hand, not even to clean the newly adopted blood from it’s sleek surface. The position of his hands however slowly altered, his right hand moved to accompany his left hand on the hilt of his katana. He had adopted the samurai-like fighting style of kobo. The primitive handle of the weapon was composed in it’s entire essence of a thick, tightened, woven reed. It’s blade, although currently darkened with the thick, scarlet liquid that was the ending action of a person life’s was made of an even darker hue of the blackest of metals, obsidian. His senses now foretold that every inch around him was occupied by what would be the equivalent of a small army of saibamen, unfortunately their quantity could never match up to his quality. ”Come out then! I’ll kill you all!” The saibamen responded to his statement with a joyful laugh, and then they quieted. The cyborg’s senses were now off-set, nowhere around him was noise being made, his adept sense of sonar abilities were now dulled. The moon which had been hidden amongst the few-gapped wall of clouds was now shining directly upon the small clearing the cyborg was in. Trees made a circle around him and the ground was littered with dead pine-needles. His body moved, his back and front changing positions as he waited for some, no, any form of commotion to satisfy his blood lust. Nothing happened, yet, he knew they were there, he could sense it! As his back was turned, entirely unprotected from any form of aggression a saibaman leapt through the air. It’s small, shallow claws swung through the air as they made an imprint on the cyborg’s back, even ripping through his abnormally adamantine alloy shell. In response, his eye picked up the pestiferous creatures agile, yet slow compared to the cyborg’s movements. In one liquefied haste his blade moved, catching the creatures verdant torso. There was another chorus of murmurs from the saibamen around the cyborg, simultaneously they all leapt downward. They were intent to destroy the metal humanoid, this would be genocide. Their movements were hasty, unorganized and stale, their motivation, or lack their of would lead to the nearly abolished groups necrosis. At the command of the soldiers cerebrum his gray ingot moved into place, and in several quick slices and keen chops the soldiers fell, his body quieted as well as the herbage of the leafy timberland.
